Bryan Leith – Luxe Homes Design + Build
LUXE Homes Design+Build was founded on the premise that talented, caring and compassionate people are the cornerstone of exceptional companies. It follows that exceptional companies design and build exceptional homes and LUXE has lived up to that reputation for excellence since it was founded in 2013 by Bryan and Rachel Leith and John and Donna VanBrouck.
After graduating with a degree in Construction Management from Michigan State University, Bryan worked with Centex Homes, building hundreds of homes in Michigan. His first foray into luxury home building was when he formed Olde World Homes in 2008 to build a new custom home on Orchard Lake for his parents. John VanBrouck with VanBrouck and Associates was the architect. His parents’ new home resulted in another project on Orchard Lake. Bryan again teamed with John VanBrouck to build that high-end, custom luxury home. Over the years, the two companies collaborated on a number of projects. While in those five years Bryan also served as a project manager with Hunter Roberts Homes.
By 2013, Bryan and John wanted to solidify their working partnership, and LUXE Homes Design+Build was officially launched. “John and I recognized that our teams were great as individual companies, but we really had something special when we combined both team’s expertise and talents,” said Bryan. “One major benefit to our clients is that talented experts in all aspects of building are under one company. That translates into a free exchange of ideas with our clients and exceptional communication throughout the process. Our first priority is to keep our clients happy, making the building process enjoyable and exciting.”
The company’s exceptional work has been recognized publicly with over 160 awards, including Best Luxury Home Builder in Michigan honors. They have been ranked as Best General Contractor in the Detroit area and Detroit Home Magazine readers voted LUXE as Best of Detroit for Custom Home Builders. In addition they are an eight-time winner of the top award of “Best Overall Home,” and the six-time winner of the “Reader’s Choice Award” in the annual Detroit Home Design Awards.
Bryan and Rachel have been married for 13 years and are the parents of a daughter and son: Berkley (10) and Beckham (8). “I worked hard to be successful for my family’s sake,” said Bryan. “The incredible team of creative, hard-working and dedicated people at LUXE share in this honor with me. I couldn’t be prouder of our success.”
